Would you buy one that was well cared for, a two owner car? Have a good one lined up for $9000. But the miles are making me have some doubts. I drive 50k per year.

I have an 05 CDI with 195,000 fully loaded with leather, dynamic seats, shades, HK sound.
I'd sell at this price. Car should go to 500k. Look at the taxis in the EU

Ok, thanks. I do know a little about the longevity of MB diesels from personal experience. I took a '93 300d to 440k, and an '99 e300d to 415k. I just wasn't sure if the newer models had similar expectations. I test drove 3, ended up choosing the above referenced, and closed deal this morning. Good luck to both of us!

great news, Also good to hear at high miles there is some decent resale left. IMO the straight 6 cyl diesels are the best. Cast iron block alum head vs the V6 are all alum. These are great engines too I know. Plus no special ad blue needed. Where I live cars need to be tested for emmissions. Diesels are exempt.
