Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exhaust Cam Magnets/Sensor

I have been getting an occasional check engine light, and pulled a P0012 code. (Bank one Exhaust Timing)

Well, I had it in last year for a similar problem, (last service under COP warranty) and I thought they changed both exhaust sensors/magnets.
I figure with a 1 year repair warranty, I 'll just take it back to MB to deal with it.

WELL . . . . . I get there and he looks it up and it was the Intake Cams that were addressed.

Frack! Just turned a $25 + 1 hour repair (So I have been told) into a couple of hundred dollar payment to the MB service monolith.

I guess I'll know for the next time when the 4th one goes.

(Sorry, just venting)

UPDATE!
Just got a call back seems it was the intake camshaft adjuster center valve.

Anyone else see this issue before? I don't recall reading about it anywhere.

EDIT: Looks like it is a $75 part. Now the question is how much it costs to have MB's Midas Touch (Everything they touch turn to gold from your wallet) mechanics change it?

Well, car went back and now they find a bad cam magnet.
$700 for the valve and $370 for this!

Frack! There goes the new TV!
