E500 Wagon
E500 wagon wheel size question
I have a 05 E500 wagon. Thinking of changing over to 18" factory rims. My questions are what size can I fit. I was looking 18" CLS rims. I saw a set of SL rims(255/18 and 285/18). Is a 285 too large for the rear? What have others put on their car.
Thanks

Since we have 4matic vehicles, it's really important to have the same diameter of tires front and rear. I will be running 20x10 square with 245/30/20s.

@OCKlasse- which wheels are you getting in 20x10 size? Would love to see them when installed on your ride. I plan to get 18x9 OEMs for mine in the spring or summer.
@silvertiger- Most OEM 18s or 19s with the ~correct ET will fit. I'm no expert but the issue may be more of staggered or same size width; the more "appealing" rims from AMGs seem to be staggered but you wont be able to rotate front to back. I'm doing same-width in 18s for rotating purpose and decent side-wall....

The car will also be going on aftermarket air suspension at the same time, so big changes are coming
