Puddle light question

I wanted to know if you new E class owners have a puddle light under the door of drivers and passangers side. I know you have one under the side mirrors though. I installed E class mirrors and wanted to know if I should wire both puddle lights together. My car came standard with them under the door only and not the mirrors.

thanks. I am going to wire my C the same way. The mirror puddle lights are more practical than the door ones.

Not entirely true. When you open a front doors the "puddle light" illuminates that is on the underside of the outside rearview mirror AS WELL as a (puddle light) light that illuminates on the under side of the respective door.
