Heated seats don't work when below 55 degrees Farenheit outside

Weird problem. Heated seats in my 2008 E350 sedan will not turn on when it is cold outside. They work fine if it is around 55 degrees or warmer. Neither side (passenger or driver) works when it is cold out. The lights on the switches do not light up and there is no heat.

Anyone have any ideas? a computer problem perhaps? thanks.

I'll pay-pal you $50 if you can show where this is addressed in the owners manual!

Have someone with MB DAS retrieve/clear fault code(s) – control unit may need replacement.
