09 E350 4Matic repeating whine after park
Curious if anyone can confirm a loud, repeating ~3 second whine after parking their car after a basic 30-40 minute commute.
Local MB dealership says it's normal AC compressor pressure release but I sort of find it hard to believe that the noise would be as loud and grating as it is and occur after the car has been parked in a garage for 2+ hours.
Attached is a video taken from where it sounds like the sound is coming from which I believe is consistent with the location for the AC compressor but the sound is loud enough to hear with the hood closed in a normal residential garage. (Ignore the slight knock in the video at the 2 second mark, it's someone closing a door and unrelated).
The car is still under warranty and I'm wondering if I should push back on the dealership to have the AC pump replaced?

I'll have to make time to go back and talk to the dealership. It seems way too loud and abrasive to be normal to me and it's kind of embarrassing to park it and have it make such a loud, obnoxious noise.
Just for fun I took another short clip in the garage with the hood closed:

my 08 does this also. Longer than 10 seconds sometimes. Its a weird noise but you can't miss it. Let me know if you end up figuring that one out.
