1. No I haven't ordered an E Class
2. And the photo was taken by Othello of the centre console of the new E Class
3. Ask Othello (it was from the Motor show, so I presume they wouldn't leave the phone in it).
It is the same phone kit as the new SL.

Looking at the photo and trying to read the part number thats just visible , its 211 820 xx 51
Its the xx I cant quite see.
211 makes sense [new E class]
820 makes sense [electrical thing]
xx is the important variable and is probably 0x - I would guess at 01
51 makes sense as thats what they use to show phone holder on other models.
Im sort of suprised a MB dealer cant find it on their EPC system as they do allegedly have 211 info on their UK EPC systems [epc = electronic parts catalog]
ps, Nick, that photo looks a lot clearer then the one you sent me the other day

Ok, the SL part number is
A 230 820 03 51
and you need the bit it clips into
A 230 823 00 60
I dunno the E class part numbers as last time I visited my dealer and printed out the phone/comand parts, he didnt have that on his system
