Hi,
I just had my car tinted last weekend when I realized that there is a plastic part covering one corner of the rear corner window.
Although the tinting looks great without film behind this plastic part I would like to have it "perfect". So does anybody know how to remove this part?? I didn't ask my dealer yet because maybe I can do it myself and have just the corner window re-tinted.

You disassemble the entire thing, tint it and put it back in. Thats what one of my friend's did. But the assembly has been loose since. You COULD hire a ninja.

Some tinters will take apart the door. Most tinters will use a suction cup to pull the glass from the outside to squeeze the tint throught the tiny gap. In doing so, you run the risk of blowing out the seal around the glass though if they're not extremely careful!!

Most tinters do not want to remove the plastics or the things that hold the door together, because of the possibility of voiding the warranty.
I know it looks unfinished, but not many people notice it anyways.
