Achtung - Appearance Package Owner's
For those of you out there that own the new E-Class with the appearance package / black birdseye maple wood trim.
Look to see in the area surrounding the poilished alluminum (where the shifter sits) is actually black birdseye maple wood - or is it just PLAIN BLACK PLASTIC!!!
I'm pissed.

I checked mine as well and its birdseye.........take it back to the dealer and have him replace it.....might be a factory fubar....also, if other sport packages are on the lot check them as well.
QC is not what is used to be in anything anymore......except LEXUS.
