All--

My Father in law has a 2009 E320 around 100K miles. He has had the car for about 2 months and suddenly none of his windows operate. He said he checked the fuse but it was fine and replaced it. I searched the forums for window issues and saw a few but mostly all it was was Sync.

All 4 not working leads me to believe it must be something screwball with the fuse [and that is what I am going to personally check this weekend], but has anyone else seen this happen before and can help troubleshoot?

For what it's worth it has been extremely cold in New England, but this was happening before it got really bad. Also asked him if it was icing on the window frames but he said no.

I understand you to say none of the window switches work at any door. Definitive diagnose have someone pull fault codes with MB DAS. You can check driver door control module, central gateway, and CAN connection areas for moisture (driver & front passenger floor). There is no dedicated fuse for windows, door control modules fuses at interior fuse panel (dash side) right rear f21, front f22; left rear f32, front f33 - note fuse problem should not only affect window operation but rather all associated functions to module.

This is correct Konigstiger--thanks for the info; unfortunately I don't have DAS, sounds like a trip to the indy is in order...will look through the diagrams and see what I can see
