2004 w211 prefacelift 17 inch wheels on w211 post facelift sport with 18 inch wheels

Hey all, I have a 2008 e350 sport with 18 inch wheels and the big brakes. I am looking to downsize my wheels for some extra sidewall (the roads where I work suck) and the ability to rotate (have staggered 245 by 265 stock) . I have found some 17 inch wheels with 245/45r17 from a 2004 w211 and want to know if they will fit and clear the brakes. Also if there is anything else I need to be concerned about.

Thanks fellow Mercedes enthusiasts!

Big brakes? Are they the stock e350 brakes? They should fit, check the offset on the wheels, should be ET38 I believe.

yes, the stock brakes drilled rotors with the 4 piston calipers. 37mm offset, will that work?

Update: I got the wheels and they fit fine. Although the previous owner left the original tpms so I was figuring it would work but my cluster reads no tpms sensor. I think they are the different types, indirest vs direct? Mine never showed the individual pressures.
