Can anybody tell me where this hose goes
Can anybody tell me where this hose goes? Its from the air pump i think. Should it just hang or should it be connected somewhere. I notice the hose needs to be replaced.
See crack
This end just hangs. Where does the end of this hose suppose to go or should it just hang<br/>

Out Of Control!!
if one end is connected to the secondary air pump(a part of the emissions system)then the part would be located on the left side of the engine when facing the car---is that correct??
are there any tell tale part numbers on the part shown in photo number 2.
yes it should be connected.
FYI: when you start the car cold in the morning does your rpm go up to say 1500 then as the coolant temp rises fall back to a lower rpm???

I had same experience last year when I was doing inspection around air compressor area. Mine was loose and left hanging towards the ground and it was dirty.
So I replaced that canned air filter and zip tied the opened ended hose to parts/frames of the car to keep it hanged tight and hopefully let cleaner air into the air compressor.
