2007 W211 E550 4matic - Eurocharged Tune 0-60 and Quarter Mile Times
Hey guys, now that the weather is better, I finally got around to doing some runs with the E550. This car was tuned by Eurocharged in November, and is completely stock with the exception of K&N Filters, and the tune.
What I can say is that the tune they did has made this car a rocket ship.
These times I am posting were with a completely full tank of gas, and Pirelli P Zero all season tires that are about six to eight months old.
0-60 - 4.43 seconds - AS GOOD OR IN SOME CASES SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN A BI-TURBO E550 W212
Quarter Mile - 12.7 Flat - SAME THING, BI-TURBO TERRITORY.
This is a Naturally Aspirated 5.5l with a 5speed, not a twin turbo with a seven speed.
All I can say is that these guys are geniuses with their tuning. I Would recommend this tune to anyone with a W211 550 looking to squeeze some extra reliable power out of the car.
Their Tune is good for 91 or higher pump gas, but is specifically designed for 93 octane. When I run 91, it is strictly NON-Ethenol fuel, which is hard to find around here, and I dont drive the heck out of it. For more spirited driving, its 91 NON-Ethenol and Torco race fuel additive to boost it up to 93 Octane.

Pre-Tune?
Did you happen to do any G-timer runs before the EuroCharged tune? This might help clarify the gains instead of the raw numbers. Until you go to an actual track with a timeslip many will question the results. But if you had a before and After that would at least show the improvements.
Very Curious as I'm thinking about doing the same.
Thanks,
Scott.
