Hello to all just asking all of you that had to update their navi.. i have the org disc 2006 and want to update was told from an Ebay member i had to buy a few newer disc's .. Here is what he said

Very old software is not capable to load the latest one. The solution for that is to do some earlier updates first so the software will be brought to more recent version and then you can load 2014 with no problems. I usually suggest my customers to do 2008 update first then 2012 and then 2014 (in case if you have 2006 disk). If you buy 2014 disk I can also ship you 2008 and 2012 for only $10 each.

I had the original 2005.3 in mine then updated directly to a 2012 with no problems.

The copied DVD-R stopped working... It would keep loading when entering a dest. Thought it was more than the DVD but I swapped back with my genuine 2012 DVD and all good again.

Try burning another one. Sometimes burning at a slower speed or different type of DVD material matters.
