Leaking fluid

My wife noticed a puddle of fluid leaking right behind the passenger front tire and I think it's just water. It doesn't smell and dries up on your fingers quick. Any ideas of where it could be coming from? It running down the side skirt and coming out of the holes in that too.

That is most likely coming from the windshield washer fluid bottle-that is where is it located. To get access to it, you have to remove the front passenger tire and the wheel well cover. There are other links here with excellent instructions on that. The leak is ordinarily at the pump or at a particular grommet on the tank that goes bad. Has she been getting the "low washer fluid" warning?

Ya the low washer fluid warning came on today, so I bet that's the problem.

This is a pretty common problem with these cars. I also had to replace the pump for the washer fluid reservoir. This is the black pump unit shown in the first picture of that thread.

If it is usually just a grommet that goes bad, can you just seal it up with silicone instead of replacing the pump/reservoir? Or is it more trouble to seal it up than it is to replace?

The pump is only about $30, so if you are going to go through the trouble of accessing the washer reservoir, you might as well replace it.
