E500 Wagon after one month
Just hit the one month mark with about 1200 miles on my wagon. Lots of snow here in Central PA, and the car has been fantastic. Have even driven through some deep stuff in the raised mode and had absolutely no problems. Just love driving this thing. Looking forward to the drive to Florida in March.

That's great to hear. It's been a month and 1 week and with 608 miles the car has been flawless other than the radio static once in awhile during start up. Also agree the car is a joy to drive.

2003 E-500
Glad to hear it works so well in the snow as I'm thinking about getting rid of my Yukon Denali and buying the E=500 Wagon with the 4Matic as our second vehicle. Did you get the older five speed transmission or the new seven speed? I don't believe they are delivering the new trannies with E-500 4-Matics yet but thought I'd check. I'd also like to know if you've taken it on many dirt or gravel roads with moderately high centers. We drive our curent SUV off road some and not sure how well the MB wagon would hold up in those type situations.
