Serpentine Belt Tensioner 2009 E350 Confusion

Hi guys, new to the board...I bought a 2009 E350 last week and it looks like the belt tensioner has a bad bearing. I was at the dealer purchasing an oil filter removal tool today and asked about the tensioner while at the desk. I was handed a diagram that displays a tensioner, idler pulley and a shock attached to the tensioner. My VIN is at the top of the diagram however, I cannot see a shock attached to the tensioner on this motor nor do I see a shock in any of the kits online that sell V-Belts, Idler Pulley and the tensioner. What am I missing lol....the shock??

Thanks!!

Shock absorb-er, code f211. If you have code f211 you will be required to have a shock absorb-er.

hummmmmmmm yup my VIN Decodes to a F211.....better pull out the tensioner to see this mystery shock....I got right in there with a bright light and don't see a shock. Maybe it will pop out at me when the tensioner gets removed.
