Aftermarket/AMG mufflers w/o resonator delete
Can anyone give me an idea of how something like Remus (or AMG) mufflers will sound with the resonator left in place on an E500? (no x-pipe). I understand Remus will be louder than AMG, but will it still be fairly close to stock, or substantially louder?
Or better yet, does anyone located in the Bay Area have a setup like this I could listen to? I'm still on the elusive quest to find a solution I like on this car. Muffler delete (thanks AMGAffalterbach) sounded great, but a bit much for me, and C63 w/x-pipe (thanks Lemonsqueezy) sounded great too, but still not quite what I'm after. I'm looking for some subtile, exotic sounding rumble, and thinking that Brabus or Remus (with resonator left in place) will be closest to what I'm after (without pissing off the wife!)
