2005 E320 4matic
Esp / sbc issues

We own 2005 e320 4matic.
Just replaced the (used)sbc unit and the gear won't shift from park to drive, all warnings on brake came up with visit workshop too. Took it for a scan and the technician says the ESP is not reading the new sbc. Says he will have to search for a matching esp. Please what can we do? These used parts are expensive here in Lagos. Can't the ESP microprocessor s rom be reprogrammed to read the new sbc by flashing a new rom file?
If its possible how can i download the rom file for the ESP?
Any suggestions as to what to do?

Did your mechanic use DAS Xentry to disconnect--Bleed---Re-adapt the used SBC unit to the cars system----just a simple yes or no---if no he is way over his head on this one----find someone to do the job correctly.

PS forget the bogus claim about an ESP module---do the job correctly!!

Horror story right here. SMH. Sorry to hear this. DAS Xentry! Actual values would serve you alot of justice at this point. If in fact he used das to do this he should be able to figure out whats wrong....
