Removing the E320 Tags ?

I know it is a matter of choice but wanted the groups opinion on removing the E320 Tags ---

Not sure if Im going to go through w/ it but how would you remove them ? The dealer told me that you can use a piece of fishing wire. Are they just glued on ?

i would search for it, but you can use that stuff. you need to use a hair dryer. its supposed to take 10-15, so it isnt a quick project. you can also use floss insterad of fishing wire. GL. i personally wouldnt do it, but that just my opinion. gl with your decision.

Just hold the hair dryer over the logo for a minute or so and then take the floss and slice it off from behind. Use some Goo-Gone and a soft towel to remove any residue. My dealer has a stick on logo that is a circular metal disc about 2 inches in diameter. I used the method above and 1 minute later it was off my trunk.

Just don't let it hit the bumper or trunk when it falls!! Good luck!

Dental floss and goo-gone would be the way if I were doing it.... Would skip the heat gun.... But why do it at all???

Funny you should mention this. I saw a 320 in the parking lot the other day with a 500 badge on the trunk. Quick to spot out though, the exterior appearance was unmistakably 320 – front lower bumper, wheels, etc. Totally agree, why do this at all?

It looks great without. Very understated look. I don't even put license plates on my cars. I will pat the $10 ticket anyday, CA LPs are ugly.

I debadged it as soon as I got the car home.

I like the clean look. The only E I wouldn't debadge is the E55 - but I don't have the $$$ for that car!

same here, i removed the badges as soon as it got home (hair dryer and floss). i dont have the $$ either for an E55 but it'd be cool to debadge it as well.
