Pre delivery issues
1. Is it time to get money factors and residuals? I want to have these numbers "settled" to the extent possible before I walk in.
2. Is the top finance rate the "Advantage tier". Salesman mentioned Tier 1. I've read here on the board of the higher "advantage" tier. I have very high FICO score so I expect the best rate.
3. They may rush the car off the boat and to the dealer to get it delivered before month end to book the sale in February. Should I be concerned that they will not take adequate time to prep the car at the prep center at the port? At the dealer?
Many folks dont like to let the dealers detail the cars beyond what is necessary for safe drivaway and what you cannot do yourself (ie - remove the cosmoline (spelling?) from the paint) - I personally would not let them detail my car (wash wax etc) because they use low grade materials and may scratch that brand new paint job of yours. Take it home yourself and spend some quality time with your new baby!
