2006 E350
Exclamation 2006 E350 possibility and practicality of an engine swap?

Purchased a used 2006 E350, about 111,000 miles, the engine is in no way dying or in trouble, but the mass amounts of possible problems are ever looming. I love this car and don't want to sell it, and I'm looking towards starting a big project, so if anyone could give possibilities of Engine swaps, preferably more performance wise ones, I would be very grateful.

Engine swap for more performance is not a small job. Engine size you have choices for the w211 (500, 550, etc.), but you will need ECU, TCU, Cooling, drive axle, etc. to match up with your choice. You could supercharge your current setup, but with that cost you could "fix" the balance shaft if that is a concern.

Homeofstone and Cmriv are correct you would save more money by upgrading then pouring money into your current ride. It is really your choice and building your own can be fulfilling, but you will ever recover the cost of the investment.
