random car stalling help!!
hi guys I have been having an issue with my car lately. its been stalling randomly and is having hard time staring bac up. I know your immedietly thinking CPS but I have replaced it multiple times. as well as camshaft sensor. it dies when cold or hot and sometimes it throws a code for the CPS and sometimes it dosnt. I have noticed that there is a a pretty bad kink in the wire leading to the sensor and when I barely touch it the car stalls out. so I'm thinking its that. but I have also noticed people saying that it might possibly be the fuel filter too. car has approx. 135k on it. please help me out!!

Yeah, I think Plutoe has figured it out. One other possibility is the CPS itself. You didn't use one of those cheapo replacements, did you? Lots of people have had trouble with off-brand parts. I used Bosch on my CLK, and no problemo.
