AMG Option Package on E Class
Did some test driving yesterday and drove an E500 Sport and the new BMW 530i with the Sports Pkg. I took home a brochure on the E class and noticed they offer an AMG package with 18" AMG wheels, sculptured rear facia that has 2 chrome exhaust extenders. There is a note that says delayed availability. Does anyone know about this package or how much it costs? The book says available on the E500 or E320. I think it looks pretty cool and different. By the way, the new 5 was not that great, and the i-drive is counter intuitive. For a $55k this car is way over priced and underpowered. A preowned E500 looks like a great value in the $50K range.

I don't know how it will translate in to $$$ when it gets to the US but at the moment the prices in the UK are as follows:
772 AMG Body Styling £2,650
790 AMG Light Alloy Wheels £1,330
Prices differ per model and those shown are for E500.

I have replaced my dual exahusts with quads though, i originally wanted quads but they were only available as an accessory .. I will sell the duals - needed to enlarge the openeings to accomodate the quads.
