Do we have winter-mode on transmission for 04' E500 4Matic?
Just bought a 04' E500 4MATIC but still want to know do we have winter mode for the transmission.
By the way, if I switch c/s button on the transmission, there is no display on the dashboard.What is wrong with it?

hmm... could be something wrong in gear selector module...
box is working ok, shifting is accurate no jerk etc?
again I think its possible (by SDS) prevent instrument cluster showing selector position in display, but highly doubt someone had done it.
Normally I use S only, I dislike 'rubber band' feeling when box starts at 2nd gear (C mode)

2004 E500 4MATIC
Just brought my W211 from a dealership 120 miles away. The car drove good but rpm was as high as 2600 rpm at 80 mph(130 kph). Also there was no display for gear, no matter at automatic or manual mode. Yes, there was no display near odometer.Other than the RPT option for CD player did not work, the car worked fine.
