arrow with car pointing up
I have noticed that while driving sometimes i get the arrow pointing up with visit workshop on the dash, also i have noticed that it keeps releasing air by the left front tire while driving and when i come to a stop. Could someone help me solve this problem? 2006 E500 it doesn't say airmatic on the rear lid so i don't think it is one.

The Air suspension is standard on the E500, you don't have a 4Matic. the arrow indicates you have an issue with one of your shocks

I think I have problem with air pump.
Bought 2003 E320 wagon 3 years ago and had some errors while driving it home via frozen Nebraska.
But in California the errors did not come back till lately I had couple of trips with heavier loads and then the white arrow start showing up. Usually it comes like 1 hr into the trip and my suspicious is that the compressor is wear out at 155k miles and when it can lift the car with no load, it will not give enough pressure for heavy load.
I already bought the repair kit with the ring for the compressor and am getting ready to do the job this week.
Anybody is having similar symptoms?

I have had the arrow up appear a few times in the last month on my 2005 E500. Everything seems normal and no problems with shocks. So I think mine is a weak pump. Keep us up to date on your repair.

Here is pictorial from service/rebuild.
The 160psi gauge fast turn out to be marginal, so I am waiting for 200 psi gauge to do more observations.
Not having heavy load now and no referral to the past I can't make final conclusion, but the compressor needed service badly on 3 levels.

-the dryer

I used a rebuild kit and couldn't be happier, I used to be able to hear the compressor but after the rebuild kit install I never hear it anymore. I have a scan tool that can run the airmatic tests and the kit made a substantial difference. It was about $40. Pm me if you want to know where I got it. I also replaced the rubber hoses to and from the air compressor air filter as well as the air filter because they were starting to rot and crack.
