back up camera

i read lots of posts and could not find the answer.
anyone know the steps to enable back up camera on a 2009 e300 canadian spec?
i have the ntg2.5, have access to das but can't figure it out.

Great im looking to get 2 units one for me and one for my brother, can you tell me witch one I need??, looking at your link, says one is for back up camera and another for video in motion, under the video in motion says no video inputs.

also, do you guys sell any back up cameras??

If you have NTG2.5, you can enable backup camera using Star hardware that has developer mode. You do not need any additional hardware.

I finally got the module from ******* , any one know where to power up the camera?
the power wire runs along the rca cable to the front, anyone know if i can power it up from the command instead of the reverse light?

Run a power wire along with the rca video. Tap into fuse block on driver door/dash.

Do not tap into lights as it can throw codes and act up.

Which fuse?? Will that fuse only get power when reverse engaged?

Do you need camera only powered on when reverse is on? Why not have camera on all the time?

I thought that was the right way of doing it, i guess i can jut go to circuit 15, don't you think that having the camera on all the time will decrease its life?

All done, finally camera is working great thanks or all the help on the forum.
The ******* interface works as i was told, took some time to ship, did not get what i was told i was getting (apparently was a upgrade), but it was not plug and play like i was told, i would have gone for the mid city one but their customer service is crap, had to get my remote starters from a local dealer as they never returned my emails so when it came to getting this units i could not bother with mid city

to bad customer service was only good when i was trying to buy the units, one failed, first was the excuse that replacement units would be available soon, now they don't even reply.
mid city should have been my first choice and not second, now i know why mid city unit was more money, you get what you pay for.
