key fob issue centralized
hello guys, I have spent about an hour and a half reading through all ind of fob issues on here, pertaining to the different models to see if I can come up with a solution.
First of, I have a 2003 e 320. I changed the batteries and examined fob for corrosion. I am able to lock and unlock occasionally by putting the key up to the IR on the (L) and (R) front door handles.
1.Ive read some say it could be something with the dome lights, they work
2.I have read it could be something with a fuse in the true- #8 to be exact, it is ok, also no corrosion.
3. Some agree with the fact that it CAN be the RF Amplifier and others don't.
So, Basically, being that have seen this issue a lot now on this forum. Is there anyone that might have the knowledge to comprise all the info, so that one could do a run and go by a process of elimination. A process that would include any and all situations that it could be.
