While I've never had a rim stolen, I thought I'd be proactive and get a set of locking wheel nuts, or bolts, or whatever you want to call them.
MB has a set that I suppose would work, but they're 90 bucks.
I've found some cheaper, but I want to be certain they'll fit.
Does anyone know where I can find the dimensions of my bolts? It's raining out, and will be for the next week, so heading out to the driveway with a ruler is out.
I've got these Sport rims, if that makes any difference.
Those on amazon don't have R14 radius.
They will fit, but will not hold too well.
M14 with R14 bolts are relatively rare on car, so finding aftermarket locking bolts might not be easy.
I consider anything for Mercedes that cost less than 2 fillups a cheap repair.
I will not even go into seller that is selling metric bolts and describe them in inches.
Very likely the strength got lost in translation as well.
Shave 90 bucks and buy something that will not make you chasing wheels on highway.
I have a like new set of these off my car. I just put new wheels on and they didn't fit and had them on my e class for about 8000 miles. If you want them I'll just sell them to you. They're sitting in the box in my garage right now.
