Radio Display Question
With the command screen set to display the current radio station, is it possible for it to display additional information besides just the radio station frequency? Specifically, other car maker's radios will display the frequency, radio station name, artist name, and song title. My wife's Infiniti does this but I can't figure out if my 2004 MB E320 will.
Yeah, I'm too lazy to open the owners manual - I hoping one of you guys will know the answer and walk me through the process!

i wish it did though, if you have the 6 cd changer, it does have cd text.

Radio Data System (RDS) is fitted to the UK specification COMAND and I would assume other Mercedes-Benz radio's. The manual states:
"The system consists of two FM receivers, one audio receiver and one search receiver.
The search receiver continuously scans the FM wave band and collects certain data for all receivable stations."
I would assume paragraph two would collect the information that the question relates to. (if UK radio stations bothered to transmit it).
My complaint is with our own government for not broadcasting TMC information. This is broadcast in a number of European countries and is linked to the COMAND navigation system. I wonder if it is broadcast in Norway???
