Out with the great 220, in with the 211. Questions
Hi All,
After an offer on my 04 S500 that I couldn't refuse, the replacement is a black on black 07 E 550 4Matic with 65k miles.
I have two issues that I can't find answers to on this forum. First, the usual drivers door handle Keyless Go inop. Both the lock and unlock sensors do not work and all other door handles work find. I'll do the handle switch, but from what I've read here, the issue is most likely the handle itself. Question. Where (other than the stealer) can I find a replacement handle? I've looked in all the usual web part sellers and can't find one for sale. Does anyone know what the part number is for a black drivers handle?
Second. I have a slight vibration throughout the vehicle. While the tires look good, I'm guessing a new set won't hurt. Has anyone had a 4Matic vibration?

Try huskerparts.com. It's really an OEM part. I think there was one place that sold it unpainted, but you probably want it to be the same color as the other ones.
For part numbers, you should set up an account on epcnet. Once you punch in the vin, you can figure out part numbers. It's free for US residents, you just need a credit card to verify US residency.
As for the vibration, could be anything, but one other thing to check would be the motor mounts. Replaced mine at around 60k.
