Gas leaking while pumping
When I fill gas, the gas leaks from the bottom, probably looks like from the overflow. Not a lot, but sufficient enough to smell. Once I stop filling, it gradually stops or when I drive it fully stops. Anyone know what is going on? Vent Value or something not working?

I have a 1999 E320 4Matic.

Looks like I have a 3/4 of a tank before I take it to the mechanic :-)

Thanks for any suggestions.

I just checked for codes and here are the codes P0446 P0450 and P0173.

Would that be W211, the tank would be under recall warranty, but looks like you have W210

Investigate it ASAP.
W210 has tank behind the seat, so would that be tank leak, you'd have strong smell inside.
