2007 e350 vibration in certain gears/speeds
I have an 07 E350 that's vibrating in certain gears. 4th gear seams the worst. It's pretty inconsistent though. It also vibrates at 60 to 70 mph.
I'm getting the "ESP not operating" warning light from time to time too. It seems to me that the vibrating and irregular shifting is more pronounced when that stupid light goes off.
The strangest thing is that if I hit a really deep puddle (deep enough to swamp underneath the car), the issue dissappears immediately, but temporarily and it's the smoothest car Ive ever driven.
The vibration and premature shifting also seems to be more pronounced when the car is cold.
Anyone have a clue???

there are so many drive-ability issues it could be. It's truly hard to say what your issue is. You need to find a legit loyal mechanic or someone who knows a thing or two about MB's.... Everything from us would be total speculation. Maybe you should see what ESP fault you have....

I figured it's maybe a sensor. The way it corrects when I hit a big puddle is what makes me think there's a loose sensor or some sort of short. Really weird.

You generally have 2 choices.
1. Start forum topic and base on guesses start dropping parts in the car what might take weeks to find the solution.
2. scan the car and narrow the problem in couple of minutes.
