2004 and 2003 Radio
Hi memebers...
does anyone know if the 2004 model radio unit (without tape) will work on 2003 e-class? i been having problems with my tape and the dealer is willing to change the radio for me and i have requested to change it to the new model without the tape. they have told me that it is impossible to change to 2004 because it is a diffrent system. they have told me that the 2004 head unit will not work in 2003 model. is that true? can i get some info? thank you

I believe the 2003 communication system was B2B vs. the MOST protocol used this year.
