Injector upgrade for a non-AMG?
Is it feasible and practical to upgrade the injectors on a E500? Any benefit?
My signature lists my current mods and was looking for any other possibilities without buying a AMG. Thought I'd ask those who might know ...

Define what you mean by "upgrade". Then help us understand what you hope to achieve with a so called injector upgrade?
Have you looked at all the different tunes for your engine?
PS: Get ready for the mumbo jumbo storm!!

Wanting to know if there are bigger fuel injectors that can be swapped or aftermarket fuel injectors that can be a direct fit for the m113 E500.
My modification path has been the typical bolt-on. The biggest gain came from the long tube headers with straight pipes all the way to the stock exhausts.
A stage 2 tune from OETuning has made all the mods play nicely together including the dual air intake from NeedsWings.
Wondering if swapping bigger fuel injectors plus a retune would be possible?

If all you are looking at is "bigger" injectors---absolutely there are bigger injectors out there--all you have to do is spend your time searching the net---however to shorten your learning curve you may be best served by going back to the tuner and ask for his recommendation.

Good part about driving MB is that you have lot of choices.
Typically it makes more sense to sell E500 and buy E55 or higher, than sunk money at tuner, what brings some risk and no added value to the car.

Your car has plenty of fuel already. Unless you're adding a significant amount of boost and/or trying to run e85, you don't need and won't benefit from injectors.

SLR Injectors? They could spray it better because of the more openings. But I think this wouldn't help for any gain.
