I am starting to grow on to the new 5er, especially from the front. I saw the back when I was at the airport the other day and was semi liking it. I gotta warm up to the interior though.

I'm sorry to tell you that Global Sales of the E60 are at record breaking pace.
USA is not the only country in the world. So when you talk about sales you should not consider only one country but the rest of the world as well.

Looks like frankenstein's monster. Nice photoshop, but that is probably the ugliest thing I have ever seem in my entire life.
There is no need to be nasty though. The 5 series is not to our taste but many people like it, and insane as they may be they are entitled to their own (however bad) opinions.
One thing I must say about the 5 series, it does have presence. It hard not to notice one when it goes by. I am not sure if its because of its highly unnatural dimentions and corner or what but it is very noticeable. But so is a hummer and that vehicle doesn't impress me much.

i actually think its a awesome car though.....having a chance to drive a 530i for whole day long, the real car looks sooooooo much better in person and interior looks very futuristic as well!
whereas the E is elegant, but lacks the futuristic and sporty feel to it.
