Air bag replacement

I am in Ireland, right hand drive WDB211. I was driving yesterday and hit a rock or something on the drivers side front wheel, hit it reasonable hard, car jumped and I had a blow out, think I also ran over it with my rear wheel but she stayed up. Bubble in the tyre now though so needs replacement too. The rock wasn't in the middle of the road or anything, I was on a slipway heading onto a motorway and a good bit of mud and natural debris on the edge of the road as I went round a bend, obviously to close to the edge though

Anyway, the airbag deployed in the driver seat, over my right shoulder, and also the airbag which is over my head to the right which stretches into the back.

I've no idea how easy or how difficult these are to get replaced, and obviously there is now an SRS fault on the dash so will have to go to a dealer to get that sorted.

I've googled the air bag to get an idea of cost, but see them from 30 bucks to a 100 or so on eBay for the side impact one, guessing second hand ones also. No idea if I could even get a second hand one in Ireland or how much dealers are going to charge. Gotta make a few calls tomorrow.

One thing though that I was wondering, when I turn the engine on there is a little noise which seems to come from around about where my sat nav is in the centre console. The only way I can describe the sound is like a little whir, it goes twice. I have a Mercedes alarm in my car which has the motion sensor, and when you get in the car, if you are quick, you can hear the motion sensor retract. The sound is pretty much the same as that, if that makes sense to anyone.

Don't let DAS spammers to get into your head.
Go on youtube and you will find videos where airbag replacement takes about 2 minutes.
Getting advanced scanner for programming will give you a choice of paying few bucks to indy, or buy a scanner that sooner or later you will need again.
Suppose $300 scanners can do such programming, but that is a subject on its own.

Oh deffo. Ill be going to a main dealer more than likely.

Was more curious to find out if anyone had similar experience and to find out if my problems could run deeper and to find out if i am talking hundreds or thousands to get the repairs done!
