airmatic to coil
are there any good options in suspension without it driving like a honda?
I love my car but i am fed up with having airmatic problem. if i am going to spend at least 3k on fixing the problem i would rather go with coils. if coils are the way then at least they shall be fully adjustable. i am looking for someone that already has the suspension and rear lower control arms to swap in. it has already been a month that my car has been sitting my i miss driving her.
i live in orange county if that helps will location.

You will only get a decent ride with stock coil springs from a similar model. Coil overs will always be a stiff ride and the conversion, if done right, will be close to what you might pay for an air-matic repair. What do you want, handling or soft ride?

looking for a happy middle. i was looking into the bilstein b16 ride control. but i have not seen any threads about if the suspension is any good. also calling around about the suspension that is stated to fit the e320 w211.

Since you post here, I assume you DIY so where the $3 k estimate is coming from?
Arnolds sells bags for like $300, compressor rings are 17 bucks lately.
So even if you have to replace all the bags and rebuild compressor you can do it for $1300.
Once a decade for luxury that is not bad price IMHO.

i can do everything myself but the 3k price is averaged from what the technician is quoting. the current problem that i am having right now is the front left side of the car stays up longer that the rest when airing down. also the rear right seems to have a leak. but only when sitting for a day will it lean past the point of where it normally sits when airing down. the rear right is the only side that airs down past the top of the rim. i am assuming it might be a fractured reservoir hose. The tech says that it is the airspring.
who or where can i find this Arnolds? i am about to lift the rear of the car myself to look at the hose. if that is not the issue. i will order from a guy in SD,CA. that has the airspring and reservoir complete for $500, brand new bilstein.
