How do i program to move ALL windows down/up with a key?
I think it worked before and stopped now.
Press and hold open button on a key stopped opening all windows at once. How do i program it to work again?
Thank you in advance.
Make sure to point the key at the IR door sensor and hold lock/unlock to open/close.
If it's failing, the solder joints in the IR sensor are probably cracked - happened to me.
Don't purchase a new sensor from the dealer, it will eventually have the same problem.
There's a YT video (not mine) that details the fix which I have also done.
Quick steps are open door, pull back weather stripping.
Use torx driver (socket will not fit) to remove the IR sensor. The screw will stay in the door body.
Cut retaining metal with a dremel (or like tool) to remove sensor from the outer shell.
Heat gun to melt epoxy then gently scrape away from the solder connections for the ext wiring.
Use solder iron to heat and add a tiny amount of fresh solder.
Cool for several minutes, then use a clear nail polish to seal the exposed solder/board from moisture.
Place the sensor back in the shell and use a small zip tie to hold in place.
Reconnect to the door wiring and test.
Good luck and let us know!
