Help selecting front CV axles for my E320 4Matic

I need to replace the front half-shafts (CV axles) on my 2004 E320. I've found a couple of sources, but the data is confusing.
The MB part numbers appear to be A2113301701 & A2113301801 (I don't have EPC anymore.)
I've found DTA axles, number ME2411A 2412A, but they say they fit VIN x163160 and later; my car is x116???. What would be the difference, if any?

The other set I found is from an outfit called BuyAutoParts from San Diego, and they provide an SKU # 90-90608 2D, and cross to the MB part numbers. They cover the same range of vehicles as the above part (2004-2009 E-class,) without the VIN restriction, but cost almost double.

What I need to know is why would the DTA axles have that VIN restriction?

Thanks!

Every reputable seller will match the part to your VIN.
Are the quoted axles German made?

Most likely not.
I think I'm going to get mine rebuilt for a few dollars more.

There is a lot of scam in rebuilding CV.
Rebuild in common description means replacing wearable parts, while reusing good ones.
In CV joints wearable are
1 bell housing
2 *****
3 inner "spider"
4 basket.
What is left that can be legally reused in rebuild?
Some rebuilders claim to regrind the seats and install bigger *****.
But seats are surface-treated only, so grinding leaves softer metal exposed.
When on W211 those joints are on the edge when they need replacement, W210 have some experience with them. Lot of owners reported to install Chinese axles, that cost 1/10 of MB axles.
Nobody report to make more than 20,000 miles on such- to date.
I am religious bout checking the boots and so far am doing good with boot replacement only.
