Issues with FOB and Keyless go

I have a 2006 E55 and the FOB doesn't work at all, but the keyless entry works just fine. I changed batteries on both keys and still no luck. The radio also isn't getting very good reception. It happened completely out of nowhere. Also, the push button start stopped working and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these problems could be related? Push button start stopped working about a week before the FOB and Radio stopped working. Thanks

Definitive diagnose, have codes pulled. Given symptoms, first step consider replacing antenna amplifier (need VIN to supply current part #) then move on to KG start problem if not resolved.

I finally went to the dealership, it was a short in the alarm siren shorting out the whole circuit.

your alarm siren is directly related to central locking... so in theory a faulty siren will prevent central locking from working properly.
