Arnott vs coilovers???
My son has a 2006 e500. He ordered an Arnott coil spring conversion kit, to replace the air ride. We thought this was an adjustable coil over kit, which it is not. We would like the ability to adjust the ride height. If we send this kit back, what coil over kit would you recommend?

Arnott makes all kind of springs, so if you want aftermarket -talk to them.
If not, compare prices at dealers.

Now I understand what you are looking for, but still Arnott is the only aftermarket who does Mercedes suspension.

From what I have researched, there are several brands that make coil over replacements for airmatic w211. From what I see, you also have to replace the rear lower control arm, typically off an e320. Not sure we want to go to that extent.

and it's really not that involved as far as rear lca's are concerned. they would need to be loosen'ed and lower regardless and are cake to install. I intend on buying coils here soon and ditching the crapmatic as well!
