Why is the COMAND navigation stuck on crash location?

I have a DVD navigation module for COMAND, you know, the one in the trunk that takes the navigation disc.

After the car had the accident, the navigation was "stuck" on the location of the crash no matter where the car went.

Now, I tried putting this DVD NAV module in another car and it's still stuck on where the previous car it lived in crashed....?

I've tried this with another module from another crashed car.

So how do you reset this so you can sell the module and it can be used in another car?

Did you hit the nav button, release it, and then hold the nav button and the #5 at the same time, then scroll down and reset the system.

I did reset the system but I'll try that anyway.

Is your comand updated to software version 46/2006? If not I have that disc, the dealer ask $630.00 for that disc.
