Dynamic seat intermittent
One feature I love in my '05 E320 CDI is the way the side bolstering inflates when cornering. However, it seems to work only some of the time (actually only rarely).
What might cause this intermittent problem? Since it sometimes works, I assume most of the components are ok.

Start with reading the codes.
I had "time to build pressure exceeded" (or something in this lane) coming.
Did not tell me much specific, but indication of 2 possibilities.
1. the pump wear out
2. I have a leak
I hooked up pressure gauge and turn out my pump is still building 35 psi just fine.
Than playing with all those connections around tank and pump I had to re-tighten something as right now it works with no errors.

You need SD for that.
Still hooking up pressure gauge to the system allows for lot of troubleshooting.
I pulled the hose with pressure relieve valve on it and reconnected pressure gauge on the end. It is having rubber hose on the end, so all I needed was thin barber fitting

You could also try a cheap OBDII scanner like the X431 Easy Diag Plus, about $56 from aliexpress, comes with software for 2 vehicle manufacturers. I got one a while ago and it works fine on both of my cars. Seems to scan all the MB specific sub systems and gives you specific errors codes and lets you clear them. Not as advanced as a Star or DAS Xentry system which lets you change values, but even knock off ones go for $400-$600 and not all of them work as advertised.

It works on both android and iphone. I have an android phone so the dongle plugs into the OBDII port and then you just pair it with your phone. Running a quick scan takes a couple minutes as it scans all the sub systems and tells you if there are any faults and the number. Once you click on the faults, it gives you the MB specific error code and the description.
