Replacing early upper control arms with later?

While replacing my right front strut I discovered I have a blown front right upper ball joint. It is an old style control arm with the integrated ball joint. I replaced the lower ball joints not too long ago and should have just changed everything at once but didn't discover any problems with the upper joints at the time.
I can see that there is an upgraded style arm that has a replaceable ball joint with three torx bolts. My car is an 04 4Matic wagon. Can I replace both upper control arms with the newer style arms? Just want to be sure that the dimensions are all the same and there won't be any alignment issues.

Never mind.
Looks like the 4MATIC arms are different and must use the integrated ball joint.
