Remote key features do not work or are delayed by ~10seconds
Hello,
I have an issue with my 2007 E63 AMG. I've gone through multiple threads and didn't find someone with an issue like mine:
When I click any button on the key it takes around 10 seconds to take affect (lock , unlock the car) and the trunk button does not work at all.
Here are more details about the problem:
1. If I walk up to the car and pull the handle it does NOT unlock.
2. If I put in the key in the slot it only sometimes let's me turn it (unlocks they key mechanism), majority of the times it doesn't let me turn the key.
3. I CAN start and stop the car.
What I've tried so far to solve this based on suggestions found in different threads:
1. Tried another key - same thing.
2. Tried replacing the batteries in the key even though the strong blinking red light was showing that the batteries in the key are fine - still the same thing.
3. Reconnected the car's battery - same thing.
4. Manually tried locking and unlocking the doors - nothing.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
