W211 False Vehicle Status message warnings
My 2007 E350 137K started giving false Vehicle Status message warnings while driving: Check oil at next fillup, ESP inoperative.
Pulled over and checked the oil and it was fine and didn't notice any difference in the way it drove. The messages went away after
30 minutes, then about an hour later the oil warning came on again then went off later.
Has anyone had this happen and what was the cause of the issue?

Lot of MB I did own have oversensitive oil level sensor.
I like to keep the level 1/2 way between the marks, yet had to go to HI mark to avoid those messages.
With ESP check the tires for the same size and pressure.

you might have a battery that is on its way out. when voltage falls below a certain threshold you get all kinds of wacky messages like that. verify age and condition of battery, if more than 5 years old its probably at fault.

Yesterday while i was driving on the freeway the message came up and went away in 10 minutes.
[Check oil at next fill up] without ESP inoperative.
Oil level was 1/4 way to the max, so i add more oil and now it's at the max. As far as the battery, still the original and it will be 10 years in two months.
6 years ago i had different message [Low oil level].
Oil level sensor was replaced under warranty.
Will report back if the message comes back.
