Small hole in Airmatic shock dust cover. How to repair?

Hi,

I had my newly imported e500 2004 up on the lift for the first time this saturday and noticed a small damage to the front right airmatic shock dust cover. It is as small as the marked red area on the picture. It is just at the top part of the dust cover. Looks like someone have damaged it with something sharp. I hope the inner parts has not been damaged already.
It is not really a hole but more like a crack.

Does anyone know if this can be repaired or do I need to buy and replace the whole dust cover? Is it possible?

Polyurethane caulk.
Don't think anybody is selling covers alone and replacing it require whole disasembly.

When I bought my car in 2013, that dust cover had a tear and it looked like it had been there for sometime. I bought a new one from dealer, which came with new clamps. I had it installed while getting lower control arm changed. If Polyurethane caulk works, that would save you some $$.
