E500 Voltage/Battery issue?
Hi everyone,
My e500 sometimes won't start, but sometimes it will...When it doesn't start it's because it doesn't have enough power and needs to be jumped. But it only does that once in a while, not every time.
There was a smaller battery in it than what's supposed to be installed, so I was thinking that could be it.
But today when I left from work, it started perfectly fine, no hesitation. But on my way home I got the red warning about voltage and my braking power was basically gone.
I put a new battery in it, but Im not sure if that's the issue or if it was the only issue. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this?

Voltage warning with engine on has nothing to do with main battery.
It indicate charging issue or test of aux battery went bad.
How old are alternator brushes aka Voltage Regulator?
