Oslo, Can you help with Kuda phone console install?

After seeing your iPod install a while back, I decided to buy the Kuda phone console for my new E. Could you tell me how to remove the section of the center console that is required to access the mounting screw?

Will get back to you with some pics in abt. 10 hrs. (It's 22:35 in Norway right now)

I have changed my Ipod install, and I will send pics for this setup aswell. I have removed the cupholder, and made a bracket where I placed the Ipod docking on. Very nice setup.

I had to free the Kudo for my Ipac that I now use with a GPS program to spot speed cameras

Thanks Oslo. I will return the favor with pictures of my iPod Mini install. I ran the aux input to the upper storage area in the center console. It's very accesible and looks neat. I will be using the Kuda for my phone. I decided to pass on the Mercedes phone and set up a Blue Tooth wireless headset. Goodnight!

not sure if this helps

I just installed a sirius controller in my ashtray. But the access the back of the ash tray and get under the shifter. you have to actually pull the plate over the shifter area backwards and up.
(from where it meets your ash tray.

Kind of interesting. but the entire center console is modular. you can pull out the ash tray, then a couple of screws under the change and you can take that out too.

haven't tried taking the stuff out from the back (cupholder and back.)

hope that helps.

Olso,
Thanks very much for the Kuda install pics. Mission accomplished.
Your iPod install is outstanding. You are a true craftsman. I have been trying to post a picture of my iPod Mini in my console but I the forum won't let me post anything larger than 1 byte. You apparently have found a way around that. If you have any suggestions for posting a picture it would be welcomed. Thanks again!
